Due to urbanisation and lifestyle, the majority of young individuals are obese (more than 50%). Very small number of population involved in workouts. The combination of sedentary lifestyle, dietary habits, work stress and lack of physical exrecise leads to various health hazards like diabetes, High Blood Pressue , Depression.
World Health Organisation has defined health as "A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”.So actually there are two aspects of health one is physical and other is mental health.
The basic components of Physical Health are Endurance, Strength, Flexibility and Body Composition. For general popouation , everyone should have balance betwwen all above components. Best option for general population is daily half hour workout ( running and cycling or swimming) for five days and one cam add strength training in Gym for muscle strength.
So for better citizen , everyone should try to follow the guidelines and stay healthy.
