Fractures around wrist are common injury in elderly patients. Even with minor injury patient will have fractures around hip, wrist and shoulder and spine. The common cause of such fractures is osteoporosis , a medical condition in which bone becomes fragile. Also the protective reflexes in the elder patients becomes sluggish as age advances
The following Exercises should be done by all Patients after removal of cast/ slab or fixator for wrist fracture.

1. MP Joint Flexion
The first next joint next to wrist is called MP Joint. Try to bend at This joint with Fingers straight. The common mistake done is all fingers are bend. You should avoid bending at other joint.
